Upcoming Services

December 3 marks the first Sunday of Advent, the four Sundays of preparation as we ready ourselves to celebrate the birth of Christ. Each Sunday’s theme is intended to us draw closer to God in the midst of a busy and commercialized season that can pull us away from him. Each Sunday morning service begins at 10:00 am.

In addition to our morning worship services, once again we will present our annual “Candles and Carols” service, which will be held on Sunday, December 10, at 6:00 pm. This is joyous time of singing Christmas carols, hearing read the Christmas story from the Bible, and lighting candles, symbolizing that Christ is the light of the world. Afterwards, there will be a dessert reception in our fellowship hall.

If you are available, know that our congregation would love to have you join us for any or all of our Advent services. And please remember – everyone is always welcome at Faith United Church of God!
